Professional values that are timeless.

In this day and age, a credible and binding appearance is no longer as self-evident as it used to be. I have noticed the following negative examples from the field of HR recently:

  • An applicant does not appear for an agreed interview and is simply not reachable afterwards (even after several follow-ups with different media).

  • A candidate signs an employment contract and announces a few days before starting the job that she has found an even better opportunity and therefore unfortunately cannot start the job.

  • Two line managers have planned four interviews in short chronological order in one afternoon, but appear half an hour late for the first interview (without any real reason) and are rather unprepared (don't know the names of the persons to be interviewed and have incomplete documents with them).

This list could easily be supplemented with examples from leisure time and private life.

In return, I like to mention a very positive experience: An employee who was temporarily obliged "overnight" without a written employment contract (the confirmation e-mail was forgotten by the recruiter to send in the evening) appeared punctually and at the right place for work and did not mention the grievance towards the employer at all.

I am of the opinion that credibility and commitment are central values in professional life and especially in HR services. Not least because HR services are very often a people-to-people business. In other words, cooperation often comes about because people know, appreciate and trust each other.

That's why we consistently apply these two values in our own company and at HRSZ, and live by them in our everyday work. In our eyes, this is the only way to deliver and guarantee the best possible results to customers, employees and partners.

Agreements must therefore be strictly adhered to and promises kept, which leads to great satisfaction for both sides. Experience has shown that those who adhere to these guidelines can expect their counterparts to adhere to them.
